Debbie Abercrombie’s Colour Course is a one-of-a-kind learning experience around colours, and their pivotal role in design psychology & elevating your creative & professional practice
“Colours are just colours — they aren’t THAT important.”
Then how do you explain rainbows, traffic lights, crayons and highlighter pens?
Colours shape the way people see the world. Using the right colour and placement of it can seriously affect and influence feelings, attention, behaviours and even buying decisions.
Even research done on Alzeimer’s patients shows that colour cues improve memory, with learners recalling images in colour more easily than images in just black and white.
Debbie Abercrombie — one of New Zealand’s foremost interior designers for residential, commercial and marine spaces — has built an entire course around colours to bring a new, unique, endlessly imaginative design perspective to her clients, whether curious design hobbyists or professionals, across Auckland.
